The Visitor Center is excited to welcome the public back to RMBL in 2022 with three tour options.

2-Hour Interpretive Wildflower Hike

Learn the names of common Wildflowers while discussing applicable Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory (RMBL) research connections and natural history with a Visitor Center staff member.

This beginner/intermediate hike is through the Gothic campus starting from the Visitor Center.

Tuesdays – Fridays

8:30 – 10:30 am

3-Hour Interpretive Wildflower Hike

Learn the names of common Wildflowers while discussing applicable Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory (RMBL) research connections and natural history with a Visitor Center staff.

This intermediate hike starts at the Visitor Center, goes through campus, and passes by Judd Falls/401 trail onto Wilderness Area.

Saturdays

8:00 – 11:00 am

Cost: $65

Daily Townsite Tours

The Visitor Center staff is offering Gothic townsite tours covering RMBL science and mining history, every day from 11 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 3 pm.

No reservations are necessary unless you are bringing a larger group (exceeding 8 people).  Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts, and we will have you sign a liability waiver.

We have a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids (12 and under).
