Arrival Information for Undergraduate Students Attending the 10-Week Education Program

The following information is current for the 2022 Education Program.

Arrival Dates
Students should arrive on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 unless other dates are agreed upon with your mentor. The program ends on Sunday, August 14th, 2021. Full-time Independent Research/REU students should contact their mentors to determine arrival and departure dates for the 10-week program. If you are having difficulty coordinating your arrival and departure dates with your mentor please contact the Science Director at sd@rmbl.org.

Travel

All students need to fill out the Travel Form by May 1st.

RMBL Gunnison-Gothic Shuttle
RMBL will arrange for transportation between Gunnison and Gothic on the arrival and departure dates of the education program. Here are the parameters:

• Cost is between $55 – $65/trip (actual cost will depend on the number of riders per shuttle)
• You must fill out the online Travel Form by May 1st and request transportation.
• The arrival shuttle date for 2022 is Wednesday, June 8th
• The departure shuttle date for 2022 is Sunday, August 14th

Checking In
Be sure to check in at the Administration Office in the Classroom Building upon arrival. Go here to learn more about Checking in. View the Gothic Town Map to get an understanding of how Gothic looks. Please note that parking space is VERY limited in Gothic. If you are not arriving through RMBL arranged transportation please contact admin@rmbl.org so we know when to expect you. If you will arrive after 5:00 pm we will need to provide you with information regarding your cabin.
